Do you use spikes while climbing?

Under no circumstances will we spike a tree that is being pruned. The spikes cause unsightly holes in the tree which are an entry way for diseases. Much like we can become ill from germ contact, the spikes can transfer diseases from tree to tree. Additionally, the damage causes many offshoots to grow, further weakening the tree.

The only time we will spike is if the tree is being removed and we can not access the tree with our bucket truck.

What additional services do you offer?

Besides normal tree care, our main services include general landscaping such as tilling, weeding, mulching, and planting. If you need something done and are not sure if we do it, just ask! One time we dug a pond for a customer! See our services page for more information.

Will mulch and wood chips attract termites?

No, this is a common misconception. Termites cannot actively seek or smell wood; they search blindly. While termites are occasionally found in wood chip piles, the piles will not sustain the termites for an elongated period of time.
